Skill system to use

I'm going to leave this up to the players, as I could go either way. There are two options:

Option 1:
Standard AD & KH skill system. In this case, everyone would start with something like 300+ XP to build out their skill set so that they have a strong KH skill with it's prerequisites and a good rounding of AD skills.

Option 2:
Use the skill system from A Skilled Frontier with some minor tweaks to the exact skills and skill areas. In this case, since you can start with spaceship skills from the start, the total number of XP won't be as great but it will still be significant so that all the characters are competent.

Make your case for the option you'd like in the comments below.

Yea access.

I am ok with both.

I have never played with option 2, but I am totally ok with trying it out

Let's try A Skilled Frontier, then. It looks pretty balanced, and my concept wasn't going to be heavily ship skill focused, so I would rather have the points to go elsewhere. By the way, how long after SW1 is your SW2 going to start? I was thinking of rolling an SW1 veteran technician.

I am voting for the Standard AD & KH skill system.

I've never had the chance to play SF and will gladly play with either option. I would like to try A Skilled Frontier though.
