Background: Ike grew up in an all Dral colony on Gollywog. His aptitude for engineering allowed him to enter the all-human School of Engineering. Ike overcame prejudices by helping and tutoring all ages of students. Telling a few jokes and playing pranks helped as well. At his graduation ceremony there was a shared relief from the faculty and well-wishing in his new career with the CRM.

STAR FRONTIERSMAN #4-pg9

Strike First - add skill level to IM
Strike Hard - +1 to Punching Score Damage
Strike Often - 2 attacks/turn, at Level 4 three attacks/turn, at Level 6 four attacks/turn
Self Defense - Declare at the start of your turn that you are substituting 1 attack for 1 parry or 2 attacks for 2 parry's. Make an attack roll, if successful ignore an attack just made against you. Summary; if he has two attacks per turn, he could do one attack and one unarmed parry, two attacks, or two unarmed parries.

Alpha Dawn Summary Notes

Knockouts Remastered pg16. As in ranged combat, any roll to hit of 01-02 knocks a character unconscious. In addition, an opponent is knocked out if he was hit with a blunt weapon (including bare hands) and the number that was rolled ended with a 0. For example, a character is attacking with a club. He can hit his opponent with a roll of 35 or less. A roll of 01-2, 10, 20 or 30 will knock the opponent unconscious. A character that is knocked out will stay unconscious for d100 turns.

Not sure why you listed 4 of the cinematic maneuvers- you'll need to pick one as the maneuver you can do at lvl 1 though.
Oh and am i missing something about the strike often maneuver as any given character will have 2 attacks unarmed plus drals could have more.

They are not considered "maneuvers" but are always in effect as long as you are level 1. There are 5 subskills that you have access to when you are level 1 Cinematic Martial Arts. I did not list the 5th subskill which is called "Cinematic Maneuvers" because you have to choose one maneuver per Level. I choose "Move By". My character has access to all 5 subskills, I appended my character sheet appropriately. I like the system, I don't think it's overpowered and I agree with your ruling - no dual weapons maneuver.

2. Strike Hard
3. Strike Often
4. Self Defense
5. Cinematic Maneuver (Pick one per level)

How long has Ike been a Dral? I must have assumed he's human with the name Ike Clanton!

You didn't seem to like the name Ike so I changed it in a post (and on my character sheet to Gilwa) but you kept saying Ike. So we'll keep it.

Ike has been a Dralasite since birth. He took on a human name being one of a handful in his all-human community.

hehe I missed the change and Ike was fine with me. maybe Ike is an affectation- Gilwa being a fan of a cheezy human entertainer who did his shtick as Ike Clanton from the OK coral. kind of like the astronaut in The Right Stuff always quoting the bad impression of the Hispanic space man. or I can edit it to be Gilwa.
