Maintaining Characters on the WikiI notice that Jedion and Terl have posted their characters to the wiki. I've been advised this is the best way to maintain characters. Please everyone set up a wiki for your character. That way, I can just go in and award xp, etc. It will assist with the game.
When you get on the wiki (you need to login to it much like you do the forum) by registering under the User Control Panel, go to Game Resources--the complete old school campaign. You can put your character in there. Here's the link below. http://starfrontiers.info/wiki/index.ph ... l_Campaign Also, I am thinking on your character posts could be where you describe how XP is being spent, the. Go into the wiki to make changes. Will that work? Any thoughts?
Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiI set up the names/spots in the wiki for everyone 's character you just need to edit it and add your character sheet.

Re: Maintaining Characters on the Wikigreat, thank you Jedion. That should make it easy.
Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiHow can you get permission to edit, there isn't anything I do is there? I am learning here. Are you sure you are in the group?
Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiI couldn't either.

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiYou two, as well as OnceFarOff, should be able to edit the wiki now. I added you to the wiki group. There were instructions on the front page of the wiki on how to do it yourself but I saved you the trouble.

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiI tried to put the PC there under edit and this is the message I got:
Permission error You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason: "A man's got to know his limitations!" Inspector Harry Callahan
Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiOkay I followed the UCP instructions and it said I'm already a user. I went to the wiki page and clicked my character and then hit the edit page button and got this message:

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiAre you logged on to the wiki? You do have to log in separately from the forums but if you tell it to remember you, you won't have to do it again. (At least for a while.) Otherwise, I'll look at it more in the morning.

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiThat must be it...I ran into same problem once. Need to log on to wiki seperate

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiI got the sheet on there now but, it looks like crap and not how I posted it on there.

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiI saw that, it's not showing up in there as it is laid out. Perhaps Terl could help. Just a formatting issue I think
Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiYeah, I'll take a look. I really need to install a wysiwyg editor into both the forums and the wiki but have never gotten around to it. Right now you just have to use standard wiki markup (the wiki runs on the same engine as wikipedia) to do the formatting.

Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiOk mine's done. @Jedion - can you change my character's name on the wiki - it's "Famm" not "Framm" - I didn't see how to change that field. Thanks.
Happy New Year to all.
Re: Maintaining Characters on the WikiOkay I got in. BTW Gideon is misspelled in the title as well, if someone can address that.
