JenS'u Kar - Cinematic Martial Arts

Postby simplymenotu » Mon Sep 21, 2009 10:55 am

Background
JenS'u Kar is abbreviated JeKi on Golloywog. This martial art form was started by a group of vrusk magi in the Ken'zah Kit system on K’aken Kar several hundred year ago. It's growth and popularity is due to a break in the continuity of the magi and found it's way to Gollywog about 60 years ago when one of the magi departed. The original art form was called K'ip K'a J'enS'u and was renamed to JenS'u Kar in honor of the original founding magi on K’aken Kar.

Passing of Knowledge
Students are accepted by Lowlearners who in turn train new students in the way of JeKi. When the Lowlearners feel their students are ready both the Lowlearner and student appear before the JeKi-Council. They must be both accepted by the Council in order to further their training, that is why Lowlearners are very picky whom they choose to train. Once accepted all JeKi knowledge is revealed.

School
Gollywog has but one school. The location is unknown but to Masters, Lowlearners and the Accepted.

By magi, you do mean "wise[holy] men," right?

Just checkin'.

Correct.
I envisioned them as star gazers that reflect on the One of the Universe.
Gentle but when hero's are needed they spring in to action saving the helpless.

Actually magi was the earliest translation made by a polyvox, latter human linguist tried to apply other terms but the vursk themselves took to the translation and it stuck.

[question is that lowlerners or is it suppose to be lowlearners?]
A second year delivery driver who still could not back up his van told me, "Its Not that I Cant back it up a van its that I Dont want to." Funny I use to say the same about sex in high School.
