Description: Baas Haas has splotchy elastic gray/pink skin that is difinitively dralasite in nature. For a dral, hes a biggun'. He generally appears humanoid with two arms and two legs, but will adjust to the circumstances. He is a cowboy at heart. He wears a cowboy hat and duds while working the ranch. He loves spiced cigars, steam baths and an occasion to flex his muscle. His voice is deeeeeeep, but he can hit the high note while riding them bulls, yeehaw!

Background
Baas Haas lives in Spice Valley, a small dralasite ranching/farming community 100 km outside of Point True. Everyone in the community is basically related in some way or another and together they provide a lot of resources to the big cities, especially spices. The Haas family is into living a self sufficient life, as most folk in spice valley are. They work together and know each other by name. A stranger is sure to be noticed, but not unwelcomed.
Baas has delivered his share of newborns in his 30 years. He's fended off more than a few predators as well. Take care of your animals first and then they will take care of you. Baas is an animal lover and seems to have a way with them most folk just dont understand.
This day and age you got to have some good hands around to keep the farm productive. Baas has done his share of work, but if he didnt have them robots, who would work while he slept? How would he get away for his hiking adventures and trail rides? Nah, you just cant ranch without bots these days. Although he would like to give them a little more personality, he usually just gets them working again and sends them out. Thankfully they are pretty well built units and last a good while.
Years of ranching has made Baas into a beefy dralasite. What he lacks in quickness he makes up in strength. Farming/ranching has given him a well rounded set of skills to be successful at whatever challenge he may face. Not that he is looking for one...
Baas is content to live a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. He often dreams of exploring new places and learning of new animals. If he could actually get his ranch to be completely self running, he might just go on an adventure.

They have spent many hours exploring the vast woods surrounding their community. She will often point out flowers and mushrooms and trees by name, and has saved Baas from learning about the Pine Needler tree the hard way.
- Ace Venturo - Human - Ace is a doctor of veterinary medice at the Point True Zoo, Baas is fond of him as he also shares a love of animals and has a wacky sense of humor. He has taught Baas a lot about animal care and handling.
