Background
IN PROGRESS Ortwin was born on Pale to parents in the corps. Both his mother and father were sheep in a cubicle farm. Disgusted with the mundane existance his parents were "forced" into to survive and raise him he vowed to do something more meaningful with his life. An early interest in computers and all things electronic led him into the technical field where he excelled at computers and to a lesser degree Robotics and robot programming. His parents scrabbled together funding for his intro year in higher education but a shift in the economy left them unable to reenroll him.
Feeling lost and like his future was being stolen from him he, in deperation, joined the military. Ortwin barely survived boot camp and was set to wash out when a keen minded superior identified his natural ability with computers and had him shifted over to a military services division. From there he managed to graduate and began is mandatory service period. Aproaching his first promotion opportunity he was required to do a psych evaluation which he failed and was discharged.
Completely fed up with the system that seemed to be conspiring against him he decided to twist his skills towards a less upstanding career and began running scams and computer crimes. Quite some time in the underbelly put Ortwin in contact with lots of unsavoury characters, the most influential of those was a PanGal contact that he did a few very successful jobs for. This contact scored him a position in a PanGal corporate espionage division that fronted as an overstock warehouse. Guilt about the imapct of his work has been wieghing heavy on Ortwin of late and he has been considering cuting ties with PanGal but he wonders whether resigning from this position is something that one is actually allowed to do.
